Day 1: Safe Travels & Arrival in Nicaragua

Rachel White: Camp is beautiful! We are three to a room and have a shared bathroom with six. Fun to never flush toilet paper bc pipes can’t take it. Dinner was fajitas and we are all looking forward to bed!

After landing safely in Nicaragua, our team stopped for a delicious local lunch before continuing the journey to La Finca.

Today's meal included grilled chicken, rice and beans, fresh pico de gallo, warm tortillas, cheese sauce, and refreshing dragon fruit juice—the perfect fuel for what is shaping up to be a 16-hour travel day by car, plane, and bus!

Safe Arrival in Managua 🇳🇮

Our Bayside Presbyterian Church mission team has officially arrived in Managua, Nicaragua! After a full day of travel, everyone made it safely, grateful and excited for the week ahead.
