Moments from the Journey

Then caption each photo individually so the story unfolds through the gallery:

Handmade with Love — Peggy Hayes, Rachel, and Becky crocheted about 60 hats for the children. Here is one very happy recipient!

Carnival Connections — Jacob and Matt Hayes joined the moms and children for the carnival last night, playing games, dancing, learning a few Nicaraguan expressions, and connecting with some of the younger campers.

Mountain Miles — Jacob headed out for a 3.5-mile run at nearly 7,000 feet above sea level. The uphill start was challenging, but the mountain trails and incredible views made it well worth the effort.

A Sacred Walk — Rachel and others discovered a beautiful labyrinth during their walk. Surrounded by wonderfully fragrant greenery, it became a peaceful place for prayer and reflection.
