Sisters in Spirit (SIS) is a women's Bible study that meets every Tuesday morning from 9:15 until 11:30 am in room 508 from September through May. A variety of studies and authors are offered during this time. The format for these meetings includes breakfast, a video presentation and a small group discussion based on readings from the selected study. This is a wonderful opportunity to study God's word and to enjoy fellowship with other Christian women.
The St. Columba Ecumenical Ministry is important to the SIS group. St. Columba Ecumenical Ministries serves the area’s poor and homeless – providing food, clean clothes, a place to shower – all on a shoestring budget. The SIS group makes sandwiches for St. Columba once a month. In addition, Bayside's community service ministry supports St. Columba with Angel tags, Easter Baskets, school supplies and a quarterly donation.

The studies selected for the 2023-2024 include:
Luke, by Lisa Harper (8-week study)
God of Freedom, by Jen Wilkin (10 week study)
Amos, by Jennifer Rothschild (8 week study)
SIS meetings will begin on September 5, 2023
with the closing meeting in May of 2024.
