THE BAYSIDE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, INC.
ENDOWMENT FUND
Christian stewardship implies a responsibility to make productive use of all God’s gifts to humankind – time, talents and material possessions.
Stewardship is concerned not only with current income and its use, but equally with accumulated, inherited and appreciated resources. Bayside Presbyterian Church provides its membership, as well as friends of the church, opportunities to support the benevolent, educational and mission work of the whole church through special gifts and planned giving. Gifts of this nature can support ongoing mission projects, and can also help to ensure the long term viability of Bayside Church. The Endowment Fund was specifically established to support this objective.
The Endowment Fund is intended to receive gifts, bequests, devises, memorials and other contributions of all types and amounts. Donations to the Endowment Fund may be made through outright gifts (in such forms as cash, securities, royalties, art, personal and/or real property), bequests in wills, charitable remainder trusts, assignments of life insurance, and other contributions of all types and amounts. Contributions intended for the Endowment Fund can be Restricted for a specific purpose, or can be Unrestricted supporting the general qualifying objectives of the Fund.
For more information about the Endowment Fund, and how to get started to make Bayside Church part of your long term Estate Plan, please contact the church office. A member of the Endowment Committee will then contact you to share additional information, and answer any questions you may have.
