Worship Ministry coordinates and prepares our services of worship so that we as a congregation can seek to know and do the will of God through faithful participation in meaningful worship.  We seek to nurture worshippers and encourage spiritual growth through the power of the Scripture, preaching and teaching, and celebration of the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

Bayside Presbyterian Church has three Worship Services on Sunday mornings that celebrate diversity in worship experiences and provide consistency in proclaiming God’s presence, love, grace, forgiveness and the sure way to salvation through Jesus Christ.

The Sail On Contemporary Service, meeting in the Fellowship Hall, is a non-traditional, contemporary service for those seeking Praise Music and an informal atmosphere. 

Two Traditional Worship Services are held in the Sanctuary each Sunday. The Lord’s Supper is celebrated at all services on the first Sunday of each month and on other designated occasions.

Combined Services are scheduled throughout the year help us to share together our faith and caring as a community of believers. 

Worship services are also held on Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, and Christmas Eve.
 

Activities and Programs:

Each Sunday, we prepare the Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall for worship, and participate as Lay Readers, Greeters, Ushers, Acolytes, Praise Team and Choir musicians, AV support and Flower arrangers. To further generate a sense of community, all worshippers are encouraged to wear nametags so that we might better know one another.

A variety of vocal and instrumental music opportunities are provided by the Praise Team and Music Ministries including Bells and Choirs for adults, children, and youth. 

We encourage the participation of children in worship through worship aids and activities, and Children’s Time with the pastors.

Attend and actively participate in worship, volunteer to greet and usher so people will get to know you, arrange flowers, participate as a lay reader, sing in a choir, play an instrument, help with audio / visuals, call and recruit volunteers, serve on the Worship Ministry!
 

Meeting Time:
Meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in room 504.
